Respect & Inclusivity: A Celebration for All
This is not just a wedding; it’s a celebration of love in all its forms. As a Black, lesbian couple, we want to make it clear that we ask all guests to uphold the highest standards of respect for each other, especially toward the LGBTQ+ community. This is a space where kindness, love, and acceptance are paramount.
We ask that all guests treat one another with the utmost dignity. Hate, discrimination, or any form of disrespect will not be tolerated. If anyone behaves inappropriately or makes others feel unsafe, they will be asked to leave immediately.
Our Vendors, Our Values
We carefully selected each vendor who will be a part of our celebration—because they align with our values. Every single vendor we’re working with is proudly LGBTQ+-owned, Black-owned, or Woman-owned. It was incredibly important to us to work with businesses and individuals who share our commitment to community, empowerment, and diversity.
When you support these vendors, you’re not just helping us celebrate; you’re helping uplift voices and entrepreneurs who deserve to be celebrated every day.
Rules of Engagement
We want everyone to feel loved, celebrated, and comfortable. Please follow these guidelines to make sure our day is as respectful and joyful as possible:
Respect Pronouns: Please address people by their preferred names and pronouns.
Mind Your Language: We ask that guests refrain from any harmful or offensive language, including slurs or derogatory comments.
Be Conscious of Boundaries: Everyone deserves to feel safe, whether it’s physical space, emotional space, or otherwise. Please respect others' boundaries at all times.
Celebrate Inclusivity: Let’s uplift one another, no matter race, gender, or sexual orientation. The goal is to create a space where everyone feels free to be their authentic self.
